Yes, music is a language without words, and some people may not understand why i said this.
Before i start explaining, here is a fact: When we are listening to a piece of music, the genre of the piece will more or less affect our mood.
Unlike language, music is something that we can feel without the initial in-built of understanding. It is our inner sensation and feelings that music is communicating to when we are listening to it. This is why people can understand the mood of the artist while they are composing the piece when they are listening to the finished art work, even if they come from a different cultural background.

Today was intense, mandarin essay, EE topic and other things due tomorrow, but i still managed pulled it off eventually. This is why music can help us at times like this, where it can increase our productivity while doing intense work. Music may not only help up to relax during leisure time, but it also help us to fix our mood and concentrate better. Sometimes it can also act as a barrier between your concentration on the task you are working on, and the distractions come from the surrounding. Sometimes it can be a distraction itself when its too good.
This is an example for the kind of music i prefer when doing intense work, some other may prefer musics with faster beats. It changes from person to person. However, sometimes i do like fast music too.
